No Beer Sales at DCC
Minnesota departments have clarified rules regarding food and beverage service at golf courses. Under Governor Walz’s order and DNR rules, golf courses may provide food and non-alcoholic beverages to golfers for consumption on the course during their round. HOWEVER, the Alcohol and Gaming Enforcement Division states that the golf course is an outdoor extension of the clubhouse and is part of our on-sale licensed premises. As such, the “take-out” rules for restaurants and bars do not apply to sales of beer and wine in the clubhouse for consumption on the golf course. Specifically, “on premises consumption [of alcoholic beverages] is not allowed on a golf course.” This order and the pertinent rules are in place through May 31st.
Food and non-alcoholic beverage service will be available through the clubhouse for consumption on the golf course.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but we have no options other than to follow the rules that have been put in place.
